基数词在句中的作用

1作定语

基数词在句中主要作定语前面一般要加定冠词 the

例如： Fifty thousand London dockers are out on strike.五万伦敦码头工人罢工了。

2作主语

基数词作主语表示数目或指代人和物。

例如：Five is anodd number. 五是奇数。

 Happily the three climbed to the top of the hill.

这三个人高兴的爬上了山顶。

There are five of us.我们一共是五个人。

3作宾语或介词宾语

例如：How many do you want? ---Eight, please.

你要多少？--八个。

4作表语

基数词也可作系动词的表语

例如：We are altogether gourteen.我们一共是14个人。

 Five plus seven is twelve.五加七是十二。
