“允许个人域名注册是大势所趋。”近日，域名监管机构中国互联网络信息中心(CNNIC)如此表态。在经历域名审查风暴之后，一度对个人注册关闭的域名注册，或将重新开启。CNNIC正在研究起草有关个人注册.CN域名的方案，有望在一段时间后允许个人注册和持有.CN域名。

"It's a trend that individuals register their own domain names," said Qi Lin, assistant deputy from CNNIC. "We are now working to check whether individual registrars' information is true, complete and accurate, and based on this we can quicken our speed in drawing up the regulation on individual domain name registration."

文中的individual domain name registration就是指“个人域名注册”，其中individual domain name就是“个人域名”。CNNIC是一个semi-official organization（半官方组织）。上个月，individual domain name registration一度被叫停，申请者需要有enterprise license（企业执照），这迫使很多individual applicant（个人申请者）转向了foreign domain（国外域名）。
