近日，上海世博会迎来倒计时100天。目前，世博会场馆建设进入最后冲刺阶段，部分场馆已形象初显。在此之际，世博会有许多亮点值得回顾，也有诸多悬念让人们期待。

At the 5.28-sq-km expo garden, upwards of 800,000 visitors are expected to punch their tickets at the gate every day - equivalent to dropping a different European city into the middle of Shanghai seven days a week.

世博园面积达5.28平方公里，届时每天将接待游客超过80万人次，这相当于每周将一个欧洲城市的人口输送至上海市中心。

文中的expo garden就是指“世博园”。作为expo host（世博会主办方），上海将修建两个新的airport terminals（航站楼）迎接游客，并启用reservation system（预约制度）。人们也期待着Shanghai Expo（上海世博会）这场cultural gala（文化盛会）上China pavilion（中国馆）的惊艳亮相。

为集中发展某一产业，方便招商引资，城市内常设有industry garden/park（工业园），生态工业的聚集场所则被称为eco- industry garden（生态工业园）。目前，有些高校还设立了sci-tech garden/park（科技园），作为自己的创新产业基地。“狮城”新加坡则以其独特的田园都市风光而被誉为garden city（花园城市）。
