句型 — so...that...；so that...

（1）so…that…引导表示结果的状语从句，so是副词，用以修饰其后的形容词或副词，说明其程度的大小。如果从句为肯定，常可用enough to改写为简单句，从句如果是否定，可用too…to改写为简单句。例如：[文章来自:考试与评价 http://www.trgroup.com.cn/te/ ?B=P@#87#XcYXj8]     His brother is so young that he can't join the army.[文章来自:考试与评价 http://www.trgroup.com.cn/te/ x?,ZA2XUoCZ%,]     →His brother is too young to join the army.[文章来自:考试与评价 http://www.trgroup.com.cn/te/ (*@6'6^ |:k-!p|#]     →His brother is not old enough to join the army.他弟弟年龄还小，不能参军。[文章来自:考试与评价 http://www.trgroup.com.cn/te/ xV;ER#dB?o-U+Yv'v]     （2）so that引导目的状语从句，so that表示“以便，为了……”。例如：[文章来自:考试与评价 http://www.trgroup.com.cn/te/ !XZs"cjScu5ip9=.]     He learns English so that he may get more knowledge.他学习英语为的是获得更多的知识。[文章来自:考试与评价 http://www.trgroup.com.cn/te/ i=J{?n6 O+J8SN3]     so that 也可引导表示结果的状语从句。这时so that作“因此”、“以致”、“所以”讲。例如：[文章来自:考试与评价 http://www.trgroup.com.cn/te/ VsSll!=!9Q@GJ1]dt]     She worked hard so that she could pass the exam.她努力学习以致能通过考试。
