    1. 可数名词是指表示人或事物，可以用数来计量的名词，有单复数之分。例如：
    bus—buses 　　apple—apples 　　 baby—babies    banana—bananas
    2. 不可数名词是指所表示的事物不能用数来计量。例如：
    water, milk, tea, paper，etc.
    3.修饰可数名词的词：many，some （any），a lot of或lots of，a number of，a few （few）等。
    修饰不可数名词的词：some （any），much，a lot （lots） of，a little （little），a number of等。
    4.既可以修饰可数名词又可以修饰不可数名词的词：a lot of（lots of），some（any）等。
    5. 有些可数名词在某些情况下可表示不可数意义。例如：
    There will be only standing room on the earth.（room是不可数名词）
    There are three rooms in this house.（room为可数名词）
    6. 不可数名词量的表示
    不可数名词一般无法用数来计算，前面不能用a或an或数词来表示数量，它的量往往借助于容器来表示。例如：
    a cup of tea―two cups of tea             a piece of paper―three pieces of paper
    a glass of milk—five glasses of milk     a bowl of water—two bowls of water
