　　1. 表示时间的介词。
　　用于年、月、日、星期、季节前一般用in，on，at。例如：
　　in the morning, in autumn, in October, in 2003
　　on Sunday, on the rainy evening, on May 4
　　at noon, at night, at two o'clock, at a time
　　2. 表示时间前后，用before和after。例如：
　　I often get up before six in the morning.
　　She went to bed after ten last night.她昨晚十点后上床睡觉。
　　3. 表示一段时间，通常用介词for, during, through。for所接短语多用于完成时态之中。例如：
　　I have been here for two years.我到这儿已经两年了。
　　4. 表示时间的起点用from或since。
　　Jim has worked in the factory since three years ago.
　　5. 表示时间过程用in。多用于一般将来时，对“in+时间”的短语提问通常用how soon。例如：
　　I think he will be back in a week.
　　6. 表示期限通常用by, until。例如：
　　He didn't go to bed until 11 o'clock.
　　7. 有时同一介词可以表达多重意义。
　　（1）介词for除了用来表示时间外，还用来表示“目的”、“原因”、“提供”、“作为”、“价格”、“工资”，引起短语表示逻辑主语等。例如：
　　What can I do for you?（目的）
　　Here is a card for you.（提供……用）
　　（2）to可构成动词不定式，后接动词原形；作介词可表示“方向”、“到达”、“为”、“对”。例如：
　　Good morning to you!（为）
　　He is always polite to people.（对）
　　还有些常用短语：
　　Hainan is（lies）to the south of Guangdong.
　　还能表示所有格：
　　the answer to the question, the key to the door
　　（3）介词with表示“同”、“对”、“戴着”、“有”。例如：
　　The table was covered with a piece of paper.（用）
　　Who is that young man with glasses?（戴着）
　　（4）介词except表示“除……以外”，是一个易疏忽的介词，与之相对应的
　　besides也是“除……以外，还有”之意。例如：
　　He came here every day except Tuesday.（ but he didn't come on Tuesday.）
　　He came here every day besides Tuesday.（ and he came on Tuesday, too.）

　　1. 对时间介词的考查。
　　时间介词的考查形式较多，单项选择题或填单词题目易出现，单项选择题中，完成时态考查时间段较多，一般将来时态考查in较多。
　　2. 对表示方向的介词的考查。
　　表示方向的介词有 along，into，in，out of，across，through等，应用于文体中询问方向，问路或描述位置时所使用。
