    (1) 当先行词本身是不定代词或被某些不定代词所修饰时，使用关系代词that，不用which。例如：
    Little Tom told us everything (that) he had heard and seen in Beijing. 小汤姆告诉我们他在北京的所见所闻。
    Is there anything that I can do for you? 有什么需要我为你效劳的吗？
    He listed all the books that interest him.他列出所有使他感兴趣的书籍。
    (2) 当先行词本身是序数词或被序数词所修饰时，使用关系代词that，不用which。例如：
    To make a plan for our trip is the first thing (that) we should do. 制定一个旅行计划是我们应该做的第一件事。
    (3) 当先行词本身是最高级或被最高级所修饰时，使用关系代词that，不用which。例如：
    Not One Less by Zhang Yimou is the best film (that) I've ever seen. 张艺谋导演的《一个都不能少》是我看过的最好的一部电影。
    (4) 当先行词被the only, the last, the very, the same等修饰时，使用关系代词that，不用which。例如：
    The boy is the only one who was late for class yesterday afternoon. 那男孩是昨天下午唯一上课迟到的人。
    This is the very university that I have been dreaming of. 这恰恰是我一直梦想着要上的大学。
    He is the same man that I saw yesterday. 他就是我昨天看到的那个人。
    (5) 当先行词在从句中作表语时，使用关系代词that，不用which。例如：
    China is not the country that she used to be ten years ago. 中国不是十年前的中国了。
    (6) 当主句是由which引导的疑问句，为了避免重复，定语从句的引导词应使用关系代词that，不用which。例如：
    Which is the subject that you like best? 你最喜欢哪门功课？
    (7) 当先行词既指人又指物时，使用关系代词that，不用which。例如：
    I've never heard of the people and things that you mentioned just now. 我从来没有听说过你刚才提到的人和事。
