两会时节的3月3日，学者李银河曾提议取消聚众淫乱罪。她指出，聚众淫乱罪已严重过时。然而，就在一周之后的3月10日，南京某大学副教授马尧海拿到了起诉书，所涉罪名为“聚众淫乱”。20日上午，在南京秦淮区法院进行了公开宣判，马尧海等22人以聚众淫乱罪被追究其刑事责任。

从上面的报道，我们可以知道“聚众淫乱罪”就是group licentiousness。聚众淫乱罪，是指公然藐视国家法纪和社会公德，聚集男女多人集体进行淫乱的行为。Licentiousness的意思是“放荡，淫乱”。马尧海因组织group sex parties（性聚会）而被判服刑三年半。

马尧海还建了一个QQ群玩wife swap（换妻）游戏。作为大学教授，马尧海做事的尺度确实让人咋舌，premarital sex（婚前性行为）和extramarital affair（婚外恋）在他们这样的人眼里应该都不算什么了吧。
