很多娱乐节目都曾经盘点过历史上经典的“荧幕伴侣”，他们在荧幕上的爱情故事可能曾经感动了很多人，也可能很多观众会误以为他们在现实生活中也是一对。他们这样的恋情就叫做showmance（荧幕恋情）。
