日前，国务院将节能环保、新能源、新材料等七个产业列为重点培育的“战略性新型产业”，　战略性新兴产业被业界称为“下一个四万亿”，为产业界打下了一剂强心针，其重要性不言而喻。

我国政府本周三强调了逐步推进发展战略性新兴产业的重要性。

文中的emerging industries of strategic importance就是指“战略性新兴产业”，emerging表示“新兴的”，类似的表达方式还有emerging market（新兴市场）、emerging technology（新兴技术）。Emerging industry（新兴工业）也称为“朝阳产业”，因此也可以说成是sunrise industry。

另外，burgeoning也常用来形容“萌芽的、新兴的”，而start-up则指新企业或工程“开办阶段的，启动时期的”。

此次确定的七大行业分别为energy saving and environmental protection（节能环保）、 new generation of information technology（新一代信息技术）、biology（生物产业）、 high-end equipment manufacturing（高端装备制造）、 new energy（新能源）、 new material（新材料）、 new energy vehicles（新能源汽车）。
