我国本周三公布了在全国范围内促进家政服务业发展的政策措施，并指出要对该行业提供财政支持和税收优惠。

文中的home services industry就是指“家政服务业”，也称为“家庭服务业”，要找家政服务当然离不开家政服务公司，英文中可以用domestic help firms来表达。

此次会议重点要求促进housekeeping services（家政服务）、community services（社区服务）, senior citizen care（养老服务），home care for the sick（病患照顾）几个相关领域。

我们常见的家政服务人员有hourly workers（小时工）、nursery maid（保姆）、baby-sitter（专门照看婴幼儿的保姆）、专门照顾月子的maternity matron（月嫂）、以及cleaner（保洁）等。
