大家跟着“大喇叭”集体做操的场景即将重现京城。北京市总工会近日表示，北京将自8月9日起恢复播放广播体操音乐。此外，市总工会还将根据不同行业的特点，推广融合体操、“双环操”、瑜伽操、适合白领的坐椅太极操等其它形式的工间操。

Millions of municipal workers in the capital are being asked to take part in 20 minutes of daily workout  in a bid to keep them fit, according to a news release of the Beijing Federation of Trade Union (BFTU) reported by the Beijing Times.

文中的daily workout就是指“工间操”，也可以称为exercise during work。Workout在这里指“健身、锻炼”，比如The team had a hard workout this morning.（该队今天早晨进行了大强度训练。）

News release就是指通讯社或政府机构等发布的“新闻稿”，也可以表示“新闻发布”，所以我们平时说的press conference（新闻发布会）就可以用news release conference来表示。

此次工间操将主要采用setting-up exercises to music（广播体操）的形式，这里的setting-up exercises指的就是“徒手体操”。
