还记得我们曾经说过的staycation吗？对，这个词说的是因为经济危机影响，人们都待在家里自己找乐子度假。在2009年经济危机持续的时候，人们不但不出去度假，连家里度假的娱乐活动也取消了，于是就有了naycation。

2009 is bound to be the year of the naycation. As in, nay — we're not vacationing. That means time off from work is spent at home without travelling and without spending money on leisure activities.

2009年注定是naycation之年。也就是说，我们不度假。Naycation的意思就是下班后的时间都待在家里，不出去旅行，也不花钱参与休闲娱乐活动。

到了2010年，经济危机有所缓解，人们开始尝试小规模的度假，daycation应该是经济复苏后度假的第一步吧。

If you don't have the time or the money for vacation this summer, maybe you can spare a few hours for a daycation, that is, a day trip or other short vacation that does not require an overnight stay, or a day traveling with a group of people using the bus and/or light rail system to entertainment and shopping destinations throughout the area.

如果今年夏天你没那么多钱或没时间出去度假，或许你可以抽出一天中的几个小时来个daycation（一日游），通常就是不需要在外面过夜的一日游或短时出游，或者跟一群人搭乘公交车或轻轨出去娱乐或者购物。
